• With little ones it is always hard to keep them entertained.  So keep a basket in the car next to them, so they can reach whatever interests them.  This way you can concentrate on the road and they have something to do.  A win, win for all.  Plus wherever you are visiting friends, they always have something in the car to play with.
• Can’t find you keys or cell phone.  Create a place a home by the door where you keep everything together.  This way when you are looking for it, you know where it is.  This is also helpful in getting out of the house in the mornings.  At night I try to put everything together, so I can grab and go.  Bills to be mailed, school work, kids permission slip.  Everything is right there, no need to stress in the mornings over where you put what.  We all know getting out of the house in the morning is stressful enough.
• Get a baby sitter at least on night a week.  With lots are parents both working and juggling the kids’ schedule.   This gives both parents the freedom to see friends, work late, or best of all, meet for a romantic dinner.  We all know the stay at home Mom needs a night off as well.   Just knowing that every Wednesday is covered is a great feeling, no last minute scramble to find a babysitter!
